Video: What’s Your Next Right Step?

Hi There Love,   Do you ever find yourself pushing to make something happen only to get exhausted or caught up in a struggle?   Or do you get lost in indecision, stagnation or feeling stuck?   Opening to our Sacred Feminine flow is a subtle dance between resting (yes, it’s true!), deep listening, allowing energies to coalesce and build, taking inspired action and opening to receive. It’s a balanced blend of the Divine Feminine and Masculine working in concert to create our lives. Most of us have skills and ease with some and need to strengthen or cultivate the others.   I have a recent experience I’d like to share with you that illuminates the power of inspired action whose time has come.   So what is your next right step? Do you feel clear, confident and willing? When you trust your inner nudges and take those – big, small or baby – next right steps it creates a cascade affect that opens you to the fullness of your power and your flow. Sending you much love and blessings as you consider your next right step. Joni   PS. If your next right step is getting 1:1 support to shift some facet of your life, relationship, money or work in the world I am here to support you. Contact me here for a 30 minute clarity session. At the end of the day, what really matters to you?

At the end of the day, what really matters to you?

My daughter and I are spending the week out of state with my aging parents.  It was an unplanned trip spurred by a sobering diagnosis my mother just received. I’m here arranging care and ongoing supports and being reminded of what really matters. I’m watching my mother grow more accepting of support. And quickly getting clearer and clearer of what she wants for her remaining time, which isn’t always popular with her loved ones. I feel waves of grief and sadness wash over me and I deeply appreciate this opportunity for my daughter to have candid conversations with her grandmother about life and living the final chapters on her own terms. We are having loving and tender moments as we enjoy the simple pleasure of Being together. At times I feel a flow of joy that shifts to sorrow and then back again. Watching my mother has highlighted the importance of knowing and honoring yourself so you don’t waste one day living someone else’s version of your life.    I have two events coming up later this month to support you in remembering and honoring what really matters to you and connecting with that wise Feminine Essence within you.   I am offering a Free 1 Hour Virtual Class: Open to Your Sacred Feminine Flow on Monday July 18th at 6:30 pm EST. Join me to relax and begin creating emotional and financial peace of mind.  Access your unique Feminine essence that guides you in claiming and nourishing what really matters to you.   To register click HERE On Friday July 29th, I will be joined here in Richmond by Molly Sharp,...
You don’t have to be bulletproof to be worthy and powerful.

You don’t have to be bulletproof to be worthy and powerful.

Dear Sister,   I have a special invitation for you and a story to share.   I was hiding under the covers last night as my soul sister and I had a heart to heart over the phone.  I had spent the afternoon stepping OUT, claiming my power and becoming more visible.  The vulnerability that followed drove me to the bed. Thankfully I had the wisdom to reach out.   As my soul sister and I talked she bathed me with love, support and affirmation. It was just what I needed for my body to relax and release the fear.   More than ever we as women are stepping out to use our voice, claim our wisdom and power – to SHINE.  But as we stop hiding and step OUT we invariably encounter places of vulnerability and fear. Given our age-old legacy of having been silenced, suppressed and sacrificed this is not surprising.    And yet the world needs our voices, our leadership and our light more than ever.  It is our modern day privilege and calling to break this legacy, transmute the fear and step OUT to SHINE.  To honor those who came before us and clear the way for those to come.   That truth was the foundation of my heart to heart last night as I took refuge under the covers. As soul sisters do, mine offered me some beautiful wisdom that I couldn’t wait to share with you.     She described how she had spent a lifetime overriding her fear and vulnerability to perform, achieve and claim a place of power in the world.  But...
What lies beyond I’m not enough?

What lies beyond I’m not enough?

Hello Love, I have a story for you.   Just imagine you’re on a journey through the woods. While there are many paths, you choose a well-worn one that leads to a clearing and then abruptly stops. You stand staring at a wall with a bolted gate.   The sign on the gate reads, I’m not Enough” and it stops you in your tracks.   You can see there’s a whole other world beyond the gate but you’re not sure how to get there. You backtrack into the woods and try another path but you discover it feeds into the same well-worn path that ends at the gate. You try again and again with the same result. Until it seems you’re stuck and you make yourself comfortable – or at least a little numb – and start to forget there’s anything beyond the gate of “I’m not Enough”.   Until one day the light breaks from beyond the gate and you feel a stirring of curiosity as you remember there’s a whole other world over there.   You start to dream what it could be like to dwell in that world, the one beyond, “I’m not Enough”.  You begin to: To recognize you were created to thrive.  To move with absolute confidence and freedom.  To feel loved, valued and appreciated exactly as you are. To express yourself fully and without the slightest reservation.   In your reverie you find a celebration on your behalf. Those gathered have waited a long time for your arrival and are delighted to tend to your every need. They see your unique essence and...
New Year Blessings

New Year Blessings

Please click here to view the video.   In out-of-the-way places of the heart, Where your thoughts never think to wander, This beginning has been quietly forming, Waiting until you were ready to emerge.   For a long time it has watched your desire, Feeling the emptiness growing inside you, Noticing how you willed yourself on, Still unable to leave what you had outgrown.   It watched you play with the seduction of safety And the gray promises that sameness whispered, Heard the waves of turmoil rise and relent, Wondered would you always live like this.   Then the delight, when your courage kindled, And out you stepped onto new ground, Your eyes young again with energy and dream, A path of plenitude opening before you.   Though your destination is not yet clear You can trust the promise of this opening; Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning That is at one with your life’s desire.   Awaken your spirit to adventure; Hold nothing back, learn to find ease in risk; Soon you will be home in a new rhythm, For your soul senses the world that awaits you.   ~ John O’Donohue   My Dear Sister,   A new opening and rhythm do indeed await you. And it is at one with your unique life desires. And this can be your year to receive it.   To assist you I have a New Year inquiry and additional resource to support you.   Just before midnight on New Year’s Eve my husband, daughter and I each created a list of what we wanted to leave behind in 2015....
Do You Feel Invisible?

Do You Feel Invisible?

My Dear Ones,   As a very little girl I used to watch the TV show, Romper Room.   Maybe you remember it or perhaps it was before your time. At the very end of each episode Miss Carol would look in her magic mirror and see all the boys and girls who were watching and she would call them out one by one. She would say, “I see Bobby, I see Susie, I see Sarah, I see Donna, I see Christopher,” and on and on.   Each time I waited expectantly and would then feel the let down as she never once said “I see Joni.”   So many of us carry that deep desire to be seen. And yet, sometimes like love – we look for that recognition or reception in all the wrong places. We seek it from people who are unable to see, appreciate or receive us. We long to be discovered but over time the risk of criticism, rejection or injury make it safer to blend in or remain unnoticed.   So we learn to hide our essential self.   Recently, my family and I traveled through Southern Utah. Tired and road weary we stopped for dinner at a touristy “all you can eat buffet.” Our waitress, Laura in her white button-down and black trousers was of an age, size and style that she could easily blend in and go unnoticed. As she took our drink order she saw my husband’s Stevia, a natural sweetener he uses in his coffee. She offhandedly told us a few facts about nontraditional ways you can use Stevia....
